LSG managed to score 199 runs for seven wickets in their response.

Ayush Badoni was the highlight for LSG, delivering a remarkable performance with a score of 74 runs off just 40 balls, which included five fours and five sixes, keeping his team in contention during the chase.

In the post-match interview, Badoni reflected on the team's performance, stating, “We could have controlled the game better by limiting their score by 10-15 runs, but the target was achievable. The pitch was excellent for batting.”

Despite the loss, Badoni's innings provided a glimmer of hope for LSG as they aim to recover in the upcoming matches of the tournament.

PBKS's innings featured a quick-fire 30 runs from Josh Inglis off 14 balls, alongside a solid 78-run partnership between Prabhsimran and captain Shreyas Iyer, who contributed 45 runs off 25 balls. Additionally, a 54-run partnership between Prabhsimran and Shashank Singh, who scored 33 not out off 15 balls, propelled PBKS to their total of 236 runs.

For LSG, Akash Singh and Digvesh Rathi were the leading wicket-takers, claiming two wickets each. In the chase, despite the early collapse, Badoni and Samad's partnership gave LSG a fighting chance, but they ultimately finished at 199 for 7 in their 20 overs.
